Memberships
Membership in The Western States Red Angus Association gives you the opportunity to interact with fellow Red Angus breeders and increase your marketing exposure for your cattle.
We have three levels of membership: Regular Adult Membership, Associate Membership, and Junior Membership.
— Regular Adult membership is open to people of all ages interested in breeding, raising, or promoting Red Angus cattle. Many of our members are Red Angus breeders throughout California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Must own at least one (1) animal which is inventoried in “The Total Herd Report” of the Red Angus Association of America (RAAA).
— Associate membership is open to people of all ages interested in breeding, raising, or promoting Red Angus cattle. These are non-cattle owners located in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
— Junior membership is open to young people up to 21 years of age who have an interest in the Red Angus breed. Many of these young people show Red Angus cattle at junior shows throughout California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. View the Juniors page for more information.
Those from surrounding states are welcome to contact us to inquire about becoming a member as well, particularly we will make considerations for those who would like to participate in Bet on Red or the Western National Red Angus Show.
